Promoting young talent

In addition to being an excellent concert performer, Krajewska is a dedicated propagator of organ music. Krajewska’s activities have had a significant impact on increasing the popularity of organ music in Austria where she is making the unique instrument familiar to younger generations. For example, as part of the Nachwuchsförderung project at the Graz University of the Arts (Kunst Uni Graz), Krajewska teaches young people.

Krajewska also  visits various music schools and education facilities throughout the entire region of Styria.  Accompanied by a small, portable organ, Krajewska shows the sound and technical functions of the instrument. Subsequently, young Austrians  have the opportunity not only to listen and play, but also to explore the construction and manoeuvres of a small organ on their own. Accordingly, many children and young adults, who previously had no contact with the organ, have decided to begin their own musical education

Krajewska’s commitment to the development of new talents and to the promotion of this unique instrument and classical music in general ensures that the art remains alive and accessible to future generations. Maria Krajewska’s efforts make the future of organ music truly promising.
